Just All Pro Trades Ltd was founded with one simple mission – to create a fairer, more supportive way of working in the construction industry. What began in Cambridge with decades of hands-on experience has grown into a nationwide service connecting tradespeople, labourers, and professionals with projects of every size. Built on over 40 years in the trade, our journey has always been about more than just recruitment – it’s about people. From supporting operatives with training, travel, and accommodation, to offering a unique profit-sharing model that rewards commitment, we’ve built a company that puts human connection first. Today, we continue to stand out by combining old-school graft and know-how with a modern, people-first approach that benefits both workers and employers across the UK.

MEET THE FOUNDER - STEVE HALL
With over 43 years of direct involvement in the building, construction, civil engineering, industrial and domestic sectors, Steve Hall has lived and breathed the trades from the age of just 15. Starting out as a hod carrier, he quickly progressed through grit and determination, gaining experience in demolition, steel fixing, and eventually qualifying as a City & Guilds Level 3 Advanced Painter and Decorator. His career took him across major projects including the first phase of London Bridge Hospital and large-scale refurbishments across the UK.

But Steve’s journey hasn’t been without setbacks. While refurbishing a house in Hull, a serious spinal injury forced him away from physical work. Instead of stepping back, Steve invested in his future — gaining both a Bachelor of Science degree and a degree in Architectural Technology. Armed with new skills, he returned to construction, taking on new builds, renovations, and even property development.

It was during his time in recruitment, however, that Steve’s true calling took shape. Working with leading agencies such as Hayes Montrose and Morson International, he regularly placed up to 70 operatives a week, generating significant revenue for employers but hearing constant complaints from workers. Many tradespeople felt recruitment agencies were “creaming off the back of the workers” without reinvesting in them — and Steve agreed. This was his turning point.

From that moment, Steve began developing a new model for recruitment. He realised the industry didn’t just need another agency — it needed a modern, fair, and sustainable approach built on respect, reward, and results. That vision became Just All Pro Trades Ltd.​​ At its heart, Steve’s vision is simple: to fix the reputation of recruitment in the construction industry, to invest in people, and to create an agency that works for the tradespeople as much as for the employers.
